It could be said that our journey is long and varied in different ways, both before and then together. Mark is from Manchester and had worked around Europe before arriving in Lleida ‘for just a year’. Meanwhile, Laia had her own adventure, living, studying and working in Barcelona before returning to Mollerussa to contemplate her next chapter. Our paths first crossed in September 2012…
Our love blossomed over English books and classrooms. April 2013 marked the beginning of our shared journey, and by Christmas 2013, we took the leap to move in together. Despite a little culture clash here and there, we’ve never regretted a single moment.

After more than a decade of joy, love, and support, it felt only natural to take the next step. So, in June of 2023, we decided to officially tie the knot, with the ceremony set for May 2024. As we reflect on our journey, we can’t imagine it any other way.
